With the cold weather hanging in there, at home crafts for Jack have been getting us through these unprecedented times. When I say “crafts” I mean anything without glue or wildly crazy to clean up. As a full-time working mom with limited time on my hands, I like to keep our space as mess free as possible (How does that work with a toddler? Ha!). For the holidays we were gifted some really fun indoor activities that are all Amazon finds.
This fun one here, mentioned on Instagram stories, is a felt snowman that is almost like a giant felt Mr. Potato where you add the parts, but in this case Jack Frost. All the pieces have velcro attached so Jack can build the snowman with a carrot nose, or a button nose…such a fun sensory activity that also helps him understand where eyes, a mouth or even arms go. I thought of rounding up a few of my favorite indoor activities for toddlers that keep the mess to a minimum, and feed the little minds through creativity.
